Wesley Methodist Church

Much used church and community building in the centre of Leigh on Sea. The scheme creates a new entrance ramp and steps and glazed entrance doors to improve access and signify welcome, providing views into the Worship space. Enlarged entrance lobby with new glazed entrance screen incorporating memorial window removed to enable a central entrance.

Church building interior re-ordered to provide a flexible worship and performance space. Works include levelled floor overlaid with oak boarding, new fully dimmable LED lighting installation and redecoration. Existing boarded dado and gallery fascia painted to ‘calm’ the space and enable new heating and perimeter service ducting.
